Four-Wave Mixing in 100W WDM Optical Fiber Amplifier for Tbps Communications

As part of the conference programme, G&H's Sharana Kariappa will present "Four-Wave Mixing in 100W WDM Optical Fiber Amplifier for Tbps Communications", exploring one of the key technical challenges in developing high-capacity satellite-to-ground optical links.  The session will also explore practical mitigation approaches, including fiber length optimisation and channel spacing, with particular focus on unequal channel spacing as a method for suppressing FWN in future Tbps free-space optical communication systems.
